a joke

why are waiters so gud at math..

cuz they know their tables.

our life like a matchstick....

i had this thought...............a matchstick burns and gives out light.it burns with that much effort jus to give out

light.but in the end it turns to ashes......we should be more like that.

we are jus like a matchstick............

when we live we should put in all our efforts to produce light.

a lighted matchstick that burns with all its effort for reasonfor its combustion for at least a little while will leave

its mark somewhere, somehow .......it may light some lamp, cause a fire , light something else or leave a little

burn on your finger.

so if we put enough effort to light our matchsick i am sure our light will last for a longer time.

and our mark will remain forever..............whatever it may be positive or negative.....

because thats how things work...........

optics fair -2009-2010

it was amazing....i guess that's sort of an understatement..
the optics fair 2009-2010 which i visited was truly amazing.
by the view of the spectator at the optics fair i can say that i learned a lot and that to within a short time.
each topic was covered well within 5 minutes each..with good examples and also clearing doubts.
as an 8th grader who visited this optics fair, i enjoyed a lot in this venture and was able to explore this vaguely familiar topic of optics with more insight.now most of us who visited the optics fair have come to know many good facts.such as:

a 2-3 month old baby sees everything inverted.

to tell you the truth i really didn't know for sure whether LASER even had a full form let alone that it was Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.

don't complain i am just average after all !!!

the topics covered were:

reflection

refraction

scattering of light

how our eyes work

instruments used such as telescope, periscope etc...

difraction

interference

dispersion

complete

polarisation

the LASER

communication with optic fibres.
